Since 1995, the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul, in the company of friends and associates, have led a peaceful,
silent vigil of protest at City Hall, in downtown Kingston, Ontario.

Steps

2. Ask students to form small groups to describe the following impressions from the video:

  • What types of issues are addressed at the silent vigil?
  • What did you know after viewing the video that you didn't

  • Other ways to demonstrate peaceful protests.
