Meet Anne Walsh, D.Min., Redemptorist Lay Missionary

Anne Walsh is a native Newfoundlander who was born, raised and received her early education in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

 

She is a Lay Missionary of the Most Holy Redeemer, and currently works with the Redemptorists as Special Assistant for Partnership in Mission and as a member of the Redemptorist Adult Faith Formation Team. Anne is a teacher, and has taught at all levels in Newfoundland and Labrador schools , and served as a coordinator of religious education at the School Board and Diocesan levels.

Anne has worked in youth ministry and university chaplaincy.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Education), a Diploma in Fine Arts, a Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies and a Master of Religious Education. Dr. Walsh received her Doctor of Ministry degree at St. Stephen’s College, Edmonton. She is a member of the CCCB National Advisory Committee on Adult Catechesis, co-chair of the Partnership in Mission Commission for the English-speaking Redemptorists in Canada, co-chair of the Redemptorist North American Secretariat for Partnership in

 

Mission, a member of the Redemptorist General Secrétariat for Evangelization and chair of the Redemptorist General Commission for Partnership in Mission She was the principal writer for On Good Soil: Pastoral Planning for Evangelization and Catechesis with Adults.
